    Near East College makes a meaningful visit to the Society for the Protection of Children

    Teachers in charge of the Near East College Social Responsibility Club and Philosophy Club took the Near East College students on a meaningful trip to the Society for the Protection of Children Centre.

    According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the teachers and the Head of the Society for the Protection of Children Centre introduced and provided information regarding to the visiting committee.

    The personnel of the centre informed the visitors how voluntary teachers helped and taught children in the afternoon since they study at state schools that are half-day. They also provide assistance on spending quality time with these children. During this visit, Near East College students therefore had the opportunity to be informed on details regarding the facilities which the centre students are taught in and all the types of services provided at the Society for the Protection of Children.

    Teachers in charge of the Near East College Social Responsibility and Psychology Clubs emphasized that the visit raised the students’ awareness. The teachers further asserted that students found the chance to observe that not everybody was born with a silver spoon in their mouths. They added that this awareness helped to realize the mission of Near East College which is to individuals who are not only academically successful, but also conscientious, sensitive and have developed the sense of social responsibilities.
