Children growing under violence may have emotional commitment problems…
Rasiha Altunkaya, Head of Psychological Counseling and Guidance Unit of the Near East College, said: “We think that we have raised the awareness that we want to create against the prevention of violence against women. Growing up in an environment of violence, children can have emotional attachment to their caregivers, their mothers and siblings. School-age children may experience different psychological problems such as depression, anxiety and fear, and may display problematic behaviors such as violence against their peers. We believe that the activity we realize with this awareness is very valuable and beneficial.”
