• The Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk commemorated with a magnificent ceremony at Near East College

    Near East College students and teachers commemorated Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with respect and longing on the 81st anniversary of his death.

    According to the information provided by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the Commemoration Day program held at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center within the scope of Atatürk Commemoration Week activities began with a minute of silence and the reading of the National Anthem.

    At the commemoration event, which included messages of commitment and loyalty to the principles and revolutions of Atatürk, the oratorio prepared by secondary and high school students was stated regarding the meaning and importance of the day. The oratorio show, which was accompanied by the school choir with anthems and folk songs, was highly appreciated.

    At the ceremony where poems expressing longing and respect for Atatürk were read by the students, the audience showed great applause for the revival of Atatürk’s Zeybek and waltz dance on the stage by the students.

    During the dance show which was full of emotion, there was a cinevision show about Atatürk.

    The commemoration ceremony ended with the writing of “We are on the path of Gazi Mustafa Kemal” which was composed by the students, and the students expressed that they would continue on the path of his principles and revolutions with the love of Atatürk in their hearts.
